Overview

KalorieScan helps you analyze meals and calorie content by taking photos or selecting them from your gallery. We respect your privacy and collect only the minimum data necessary to provide this functionality.

What Data We Collect

• Photos: Photos that you take or select are processed for calorie analysis. They are stored locally on your device. If you decide to analyze a photo, it will be temporarily sent to our server for processing. We use OpenAI services to perform the analysis.
• Device ID: A unique anonymous identifier is created and stored on your device to distinguish your requests. This identifier does not contain personal information.
• Push Notifications: If you allow push notifications, we store your device token only to send reminders or daily reports.

How We Use Data

• To analyze meals and calculate calorie content.
• To provide you with daily summaries and reminders.
• To improve the app and its features.

Data Storage

Photos are stored locally on your device. Photos sent to our server are processed and deleted immediately after analysis. We do not sell your data to third parties. A third-party data processor, OpenAI, may be used to analyze images solely for the purpose of providing the app’s functionality.

Server Location

Our processing server is located in Ukraine and uses secure HTTPS connections. All data transmitted to the server is encrypted during transfer. No long-term storage of your photos takes place on our server.

Your Rights

You may delete the app at any time to remove all local data. You may also request removal of your device token from our server by contacting us.
